Marta’s passion for improving individuals’ communicative abilities stems from growing up in a bilingual family and being fascinated with speech and language from an early age. Her long-standing desire to assist others has fueled her ambition to pursue a career in speech-language pathology. During her career, she has had the opportunity to assist clients, ranging in age from infancy to geriatric, with a variety of communication disorders. She has experience working in distinct settings in both California and Texas including private and public schools, home health, skilled nursing, community programs, telehealth, and directing speech and language summer camps. Marta has a special interest in global health missions, as she enjoys and celebrates differences in others. She strives to utilize clients’ unique learning abilities in order to unlock their highest potential.
