iPACERS RUNNING CLUB

The iPacers Running club was established in July 2014 with the mission to Involve Parents And Children Exercising, Running, & Socializing.

Many children and adults I serve in my practice are on the autism spectrum. They were my inspiration in forming a club where I could bring them together with their own families once a week in a social setting that involved some form of exercising. I commissioned my sister, a committed amateur runner, and my nephew, a collegiate runner and captain of his college team, to help me develop a program that would be heart and social friendly at the same time.

As time has passed our club has not only grown in size but in determination. Walking has turned into running and one mile has become 4 miles. Some 5ks later and we are still here.

Our running club meets on Sundays in Plano, Texas and is free to all. If you are interested in joining us please leave us a message and we will contact you with more information. Hope to see you on the track because every accomplishment begins with a decision to try!
